MBC’s ongoing mission prepares men and women for ministry in diverse environments. This is especially true in our own region. As of the 2020-21 academic year, MBC has initiated several new exciting degree programs.
Partnership with Lancaster BibleCollege (LBC)
Through a strategic partnership with LBC’s online program, students will be able to earn a bachelor’s degree in the following majors at MBC:
• Business Administration
• Criminal Justice
• Healthcare Management
• Sport Management
Students who opt for one of these majors will take their core and general education credits at MBC. During their junior and senior years, students will take the LBC major courses online while continuing at MBC. This allows students to be part of the MBC campus community and participate in discipleship. Once complete, the students will receive their degree in these majors from MBC.
Bachelor’s in Workplace Ministry
Another degree MBC has launched is a Bachelor’s in Workplace Ministry. This new degree program gives a student a biblical foundation in worldview and Christian living. They will then sign up for an associate’s degree or vocational certificate program through a community college. Once the associate’s degree or certificate program is complete, the professional credits earned will be transferred back to MBC. At this point, the student will finish their remaining bachelor’s credits, including courses in Business as Mission and Theology of Work and Witness in the Workforce. Additionally, there
will be a special internship designed for this program. It will combine real work experience in the occupation of choice alongside ministry mentorship. Upon completion, the student will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in workplace ministry with an emphasis in the area undertaken by the associate’s degree or vocational certificate.
