The mission of Montana Bible College is to glorify God, through Biblical higher education, by training men and women for a lifetime of dynamic Christian living and service.

The mission:  This is WHY we exist.

Montana Bible College:  An independent non-denominational Bible college serving the regional church in Montana and beyond

Montana Bible College:  In distinction from a Christian liberal arts college that puts more emphasis on the creation mandate (Genesis 1:28), the center, the core, the bullseye of a Bible College mission is driven by the Great Commission.  We train students to be disciple-makers, no matter whether their degree will be for full-time occupational Christian service or as strategic disciple-makers embedded in the culture for gospel impact through occupation.

To glorify God:  We strive to do God’s work, in God’s way, by God’s strength, following God’slead, so that in all things it is God who gets the glory.  For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. (Romans 11:36 – NASB95)

Through Biblical:  The Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative written word of God.  Every class is taught from a Biblical worldview.  We proclaim the message of good news from the Bible.  We study the Bible and teach our students to study the Bible as our authoritative source for belief and practice.  We put the Bible into practice in the way we live.

Higher education:  We are a college, granting bachelor’s degrees and a one year certificate, accredited by the Association of Biblical Higher Education.

By training: Training indicates there is knowledge + skill + strategy to get a job done, namely the completion of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

Men and women: our training is for all humanity who have together been created in the image of God, male and female.

For a lifetime:  Our aim is to set students on a lifelong trajectory of knowing Christ and making Him known.

Of dynamic: Powerful, energized, effective, impactful

Christian living: Our education is about ALL of life, not just an occupation.  Our students are trained to live out every sphere of life under the Lordship of Jesus.

And service:  as followers of Jesus, we serve Him first, and through Him we serve in whatever place and circumstance He gives us so that His purposes are advanced.
