Friends, 2024 has been a year of significant accomplishments at MBC.  This is a good moment to look back with praise to God for what He has enabled the college to do even as we look ahead to the goals and ways we depend upon God for the year to come.

2024 Recruitment Accomplishments:

While investing in a season of transition from 2023 to 2027, MBC continues to pursue its goal of equipping over 60 full-time students.

  • We built relationships with youth groups and home school groups and increased MBC presence at Christian college fairs.

  • We launched a media campaign to reach potential students and a new website with greater Gen Z appeal.  Check out this video we produced if you haven’t seen it already!

2024 Academic Accomplishments:

MBC is known for its rigorous academics and has worked in 2024 to further enrich students’ educational experience and results. Successful endeavors included:

  • Expansion: Making emphases in Pastoral Ministry, Biblical Counseling and Missions into full majors, adding an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies, increasing our ability to offer online courses, and launching a Dual Enrollment Program for high school students (18 enrolled so far!).

  • Partnerships: Engaging the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF) for instruction of MBC counseling courses (giving students advanced standing for graduate degrees) and partnering with the Foundation Advancing Creation Truth in Glendive, Montana, to include a week-long Dinosaur Dig intensive in the curriculum for the Certificate in Biblical Worldview.

2024 Student Life Accomplishments:

Core to MBC is the intentional discipleship of each student so that graduation represents far more than academic achievement. Providing a vibrant Student Life experience is vital to student growth. Progress made in 2024 included:

  • Full remodel of two dorm buildings so that students can live on campus and get the full MBC experience; also, the addition of a state-of-the-art campus security system.

  • Addition of Vice President of Student Affairs Mr. Joe King, who is directing synergized efforts inside and outside the classroom to disciple students and engage them in practical ministry experiences.

Full remodel of the Montana Bible College men's and women's dorms occurred over the summer of 2024.

Trusting God for The Steps Ahead

As we look ahead at 2025, there are SO MANY next steps in the works.  We’ll be excited to tell you more about these in the weeks and months ahead.  For now, I wonder if you might simply pray for God’s mighty work in each of these three key areas of the college: Recruitment, Academics, and Student Life.

For Recruitment:  We believe God directs students.  Please ask Him to put it in the hearts of students to come for training.  Ask the Lord of the Harvest to send out laborers into His harvest field.  Ask that He might bear fruit through the recruiting efforts made by bringing the students!

For Academics:  Pray for the strength, wisdom and spiritual vitality of all our instructors that they may freely pour into our students with great effectiveness.  Pray also for the success of academic initiatives to continually strengthen our programs.

For Student Life:  Pray that the excellent spirit on campus would continue, that students would grasp all that God has for them and would be truly shaped to be men and women who love the Lord their God with all their hearts and souls and minds and strength!

Presidential Search Update

The search for MBC’s next president is well underway.  Our Search Committee, headed by our Board Chairman, Dr. Mark Danielson, is currently considering 9 applicants for the position – all qualified. The work of the committee is to narrow down the applicant field to the strongest candidates for next steps and interviews.  We’ll keep you informed as significant milestones are reached in the process.

Would you join us in prayer for God’s work through this process to make my successor clear?  Thank you!  We are looking for a strong handoff that will build momentum for the college!

In the Love of Christ,

Ryan Ward - President
