Attention all MIB/BSBC/MBC Alumni:

It’s official! Bozeman, MT is the place you’ll want to be on the weekend of June 2-4, 2023. The event is a combined reunion for ALL alumni of MIB/BSBC/MBC! Circle those dates and begin making plans now to attend. Our desire is to gather together folks from years gone by as well as more recent graduates of MBC for a time of renewing old friendships or forming new ones in a beautiful and versatile setting. We all have Christ and a Montana-Bible-college-experience in common—whether it was MIB, BSBC, or MBC. Here are the details you’ll need to know:

Where: Yellowstone Alliance Adventures Camp (a fifteen-minute drive just south of Bozeman in the foothills). You can check out the facility on the camp website: https://www.yaacamp.org/

Accommodations: The camp facility and housing at MBC will be much more affordable than the cost of area hotels, although that is an option some may prefer. Accommodations at the camp and MBC include:

A lodge with 4 rooms, each room with a bathroom and bunks beds to sleep 8.
The lodge also has four fully furnished private rooms upstairs, each with a bathroom. (These are like a hotel room).
*2 rooms sleep four—a queen bed and one bunk bed.

*2 rooms sleep 6—a queen bed and 2 bunkbeds.

A lodge-like bunkhouse with 4 large rooms, bunks beds to sleep 14, and a bathroom in each room.
5 rustic cabins with bunk beds. Bathrooms with shower are down the trail.
2 wall tents all with bunks or single beds. Bathrooms with shower are down the trail.
8 RV hook-ups are available, possibly a few more.
Space is available for those who may want to provide their own tent.
At least 8 bedrooms are available in the apartments at Montana Bible College.
The YAA facility includes a dining hall, chapel, open air chapel, nice meeting spaces in Canyon Lodge and the bunkhouse, and numerous recreation opportunities.
The camp provides a for maximum of about 120 people in beds if all bunks/beds are used. If each family prefers their own space the capacity would be closer to 60-70 depending on family size. Some friends/families/singles may enjoy sharing a room or cabin. You may consider talking with your friends about possibly sharing one of the spaces available—kind of like dorm life in the “good old days.” 😊
Costs:

A $25 non-refundable registration fee per person ($50 maximum per family). This reserves your lodging space, includes the cost of a T-shirt, and covers miscellaneous reunion costs. (See registration form for sizes/design/options)
The cost for staying at Yellowstone Adventures is $70.00/person/night and this includes meals which will be prepared by the camp food service.
The cost of the four private rooms is $110/per person/night including meals.
The cost for RV or tent sites is $65/person/night including meals.
The cost for those staying in an apartment on MBC’s campus is $40/per couple/night.
The cost for those staying at MBC or other locations but attending the reunion during the day will be a $15/person/day access fee, plus the option of eating meals at the camp–$10 breakfast, $12 lunch, $15 dinner.
Bedding (including towel and linens) is available for rent for the weekend for $20 for those staying at YAA, otherwise people need to bring their own sleeping bags/bedding and towels.
Food: Food at the camp is very good. The cook staff can accommodate GF and dairy free needs for a slight upcharge. This has to be communicated ahead of time (see registration form). The dining hall seats 120 inside and there are also picnic tables located outside, as well as a covered picnic area a few steps away from the dining hall.

Check-in/Check-out time:

Check-in Friday afternoon, June 2, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Check-out Sunday afternoon, June 4, by 2:00 p.m.
If some have a distance to travel, the camp will allow you to spend an extra night at the camp and leave Monday morning if that would be of help or interest. Please make the need known ahead of time (see registration form).

Activities:

Unsupervised activities include such things as volleyball, soccer, 9-square, a game room, hiking, basketball. These activities are available all the time. A fire pit is also available for a campfire in the evening.
Supervised activities include a zipline, a climbing wall, archery, low ropes course, and a bungee swing. There would be an hourly rate for these activities since they would require a staff person to supervise the activity. Those who have an interest in these activities might consider going together to cover the cost.
Zipline: $270 or $500 for two hours
Climbing Wall: $200
Archery: $100
Riflery: $100
Low Ropes Course: $100
Bungee Swing: $100
Visiting! There are great spaces available throughout the facility for visiting.
Opportunities will be given to tour the MBC campus. Ryan Ward will provide an update on Montana Bible College and be available to answer questions.
There will be time for sharing and testimonies. Perhaps some who plan to attend would like to lead in a group worship time or share a special music selection.

This is a work in progress. We are praying for a good turn-out and an event that will be a wonderful time of renewing friendships, remembering good times and God’s faithfulness, and enjoying sweet fellowship. Share this information with friends and encourage them to attend! Looking forward to seeing many of you this summer!
